Is Childhood is disappearing?
I wish my name to stay Anonymous. I am 16, I am a Puerto Rican. Childhood has never disappeared. But in most cases Childhood was never there. For example, since before my memory I was beaten and ill treated, my 15 year old pregnant sister ran away when I was 4 (it's one of my oldest memories) I had to grow up quickly to learn to cook for myself, do my own laundry, do my own dishes etc. I had a weaker childhood then other people may have. Of course others, like some of my friends, got what they always wanted in life. They got toys, went to see movie, etc. Like the other guy say, think back to medieval ages. Most child had to grow up quickly to fend for themselves, while a select few got to do what they wanted. Childhood has improved for those select few, and with a higher population those select few are a larger population. Childhood isn't disappearing or reappearing, it's simply the number of have's and have nots grew larger.
