DSi stolen, no concrete proof, wat do?

I had a Nintendo DSi console with Lego case attached, an 8GB SDHC card, a DS game (Wario-Ware DIY), and a bunch of dsiware dlc sitting next to me on a desk untouched for a week or two. Now my room's kind of cluttered with boxes and stuff so when I noticed it was gone it took a while to look everywhere because I initially thought it was just lost. However, this "friend" of mine who I only ever let in the house out of sympathy more than anything else visited 3 days in a row shortly before I noticed the disappearance of the DSi. He's stolen from me before, but only small toys when he was young, and quite frankly at first I didn't think he'd be stupid enough to take something as noticeable as this. Computer stuck on Windows loading screen?

My buddies computer is stuck on the windows loading screen (the one with the green loading bar at the bottom). it was working earlier but i tried to pull some stuff off MY old hard drive on his computer and it didnt work... since then it wont load the OS. F8 does nothing.. F11 only brings up Floppy, CD drive, and HDD boot options... and then F2 is just the bios. I tried removing the CMOS battery and it did nothing. Another buddy said it was a memory problem, but when it load up it says the 3528MB of memory is OK.. .also the comp. has 4GB of memory so its not showing the appropriate amount ( maybe the MOBOs max supported tho) any suggestions?

Ive met a great guy and him and i are beyond amazing together. I thought about an idea for a book, but i need to know whether there are any similar books like this one. The story is about a boy who is plagued by disappearance, and then discovers that there is an alternate dimension where minions steal things out of existance. My daughter is 13 and some of her friends (and older sister 19, and 23) have been wearing the PINK line. For example, since before my memory I was beaten and ill treated, my 15 year old pregnant sister ran away when I was 4 (it's one of my oldest memories) I had to grow up quickly to learn to cook for myself, do my own laundry, do my own dishes etc. I had a weaker childhood then other people may have. Of course others, like some of my friends, got what they always wanted in life. They got toys, went to see movie, etc. Like the other guy say, think back to medieval ages. Most child had to grow up quickly to fend for themselves, while a select few got to do what they wanted. Childhood has improved for those select few, and with a higher population those select few are a larger population. i noticed alot christians (not all of them) like to use words like " you are like family to me ( subtitute the word family with mother, father, daughter, son, brothers etc etc). Based on my obeservation, they seem to fall into two groups. Group 1, complete phonies, those are christians that really do have relationship with God, but dont really understand love for people outside their immediate family beyond the superficial, ie they'll love you as long as you give them whatever they want ( i dont mean physical possessions, but emotionally) and allow them to treat you like a doormat. Group 2, those christians really do have some abiltiy to build in depth relationship with people outside their immediate family, however, when they use those words, it is quite clear they dont mean it literally, it almost as if they like to say those type of things to give themselve warm fuzzy feelings. ( for the purpose of this question, i am refering to group 2, i wont even waste my time on group 1). i often wonder whether it is appropriate to use those words without actually mean it ie knowing you wont able to commit the person to the extent as the words implies.the sentiment is somehow validated by my exp recently. I have came across this teenage girl who i met through interviewing her for one of my psychology assighment. She is currently in a loving christian foster family, with whom she is very close to. however , she mentioned in the interview she often felt uncomfortable with her foster dad habit of refering to her as "just like my daughter" when it is quite clear he doesnt feel the same way about her as his own kids, she explained to me that she personally took those words seriously, and feel people should only use those words unless they absolutely meant it, otherwise it just felt like empty promise. i would really appreciate my fellow christians point of view on this one.

Questions about hermit crabs?

I recently attained two new hermit crabs. The first few days they were fine, although i did notice they did not eat at all, either fresh nor pellet/powder food. I simply attriubuted this to adjusting to their new climate, and so i wasnt worried. Iv'e had them for about two weeks, and i dont think they've eaten yet. Also, they consistantly bury themselves in the sand,which of course is something that hermit crabs do, but they stay there for days on end, and do not move. I went to see a psychologist for social anxiety triggered during highschool by drama and bullying, and had to fill out forms on my first appointment that stated the insurance companies are allowed to disclose information. My mother was talking to a friend of hers who wanted her daughter to see a psychologist when she was young and she refused. The friend said her daughter was asked whether she'd seen a psychologist or not during her law board exams, and that the daughter replied "thank god i didn't go see that psychologist." My question is.. with a mental health diagnosis (social anxiety) on my record, will this keep me from attaining certain jobs in the future? This is my first question here, and I'm hoping I will get some insightful answers. This will be lengthy and I apologize, but please allow me to explain the situation in full. I am 23 and am currently visiting my brother and sister- in- law for a couple of weeks. They have a five year old son who is a wonderful child, and generally very enjoyable to be around. However, a couple of days after I arrived, I was looking through my suitcase up in the guest bedroom when my nephew entered and closed the door behind him. I greeted him and he asked, "Want to play grown ups?" I said sure and asked him how you play. He started out by telling me we needed to go to the grocery store, preapre dinner, do the laundry. I went along with the game. Then he said it was "time to go to bed" and motioned for me to lie next to him on the floor. I obliged, not thinking anything of it, until he reached under my blouse and touched my breast. I quickly removed his hand and sat up but tried to remain calm as I know he's just a small child. I told him that was not at all appropriate and that it makes people feel very uncomfortable when they are touched in a private area, and to never do that to anyone again. He apologized to me, and then told me not to tell his parents because it would make his mommy cry if I did. Later in the evening, I did end up mentioning what happened to my sister-in-law, just to get her take on it and to make sure I had handled the situation appropriately since he is her child. She became very upset, and told me that this was very troubling because over the past several months this kind of thing has been an ongoing problem. He has been reprimanded twice at school for inappropriate touching of little girls. One incident was a kiss on the lips (that the little girl did not consent to apparently) which is probably rather innocent, but the second incident was his touching another little girl between the legs (also against the girl's will). He has an eight year old sister who has complained of having her nightgown lifted by my nephew even after repeated protestations from her. He has been told over and over and over again by teachers and his parents that acting on these body curiosities that he's having is just not appropriate and must be curbed. I completely understand that children will indeed explore things like this, but when does that type of behavior become excessive? I was compelled to ask for advice after playing with him alone again today. This time he told me we were going to play "boyfriend and girlfriend" and I told him that would be a silly game for us to play, because I am his aunt. He got off the topic and we began playing "superheroes" instead, but at one point during the game he approached me, took my face in his hands and pressed his open mouth against mine in a shockingly suggestive manner. I again tried to keep my composure and I told him that he cannot kiss me that way, that children and adults don't kiss each other that way. He responded with, "But I didn't touch your private parts this time." Perhaps I am over-reacting to this because I don't have children of my own, and I'm not a child psychologist, but his response very much alarmed me. He seems to have a very keen awareness of the impropriety of his behavior, but continues to do it anyway, and even begs me not to tell on him. I don't know what to say to my brother and sister-in-law, I don't know what to say to my nephew, and I'm really not sure what to think of the whole situation. I want to respond and act appropriately considering he is a child, but I do not want to have another incident where I am fondled, or made to feel uncomfortable by my own small nephew. I just don't think the behavior is completely innocent anymore. Am I wrong? Thoughts?

CONTROL issues or PARENTING DIFFERENCES?

If it's some cheap little car, I don't see what he was freaking out about. It can be a bath toy. If the guy washed it in bleach & water every now & then like you're supposed to with all bath toys, it wouldn't mold. That guy is just a jerk. Help...i have an eating disorder...?

i am 17 and i have compulsive overeating eating disorder...my parents don't believe me. i tell myself not to pick up the junk food but i cant and i eat it thinking "oh it's ok it's just one" but then when i get done i feel all guilty and depressed. and it makes me so upset that i cry and want to kill myself. i wake up telling myself to stay away from it but i really cant. this past year in biology we read an article about if maybe overeating is genetics..and the kids in class were horrible.
